About

The most famous and iconic chair from Italian wave of 1950s, in the more comfortable version with armrests: La Medea armchair was designed by Vittorio Nobili and produced by Fratelli Tagliabue in 1956. It is made out of a single piece of molded plywood with a mahogany veneer supported on a base of black painted metal legs. The Medea chair was the winner of the prestigious Compasso d’Oro in 1956. 2 items available. This examples are in very good condition with a wonderful patina; Biblio: Domus n. 329, April 1957, p. 34.
