1950s Italian bench made of iron frame and rush wickerwork by Giuseppe Pagano

About the Item

Beautiful Mid Century Italian 2-seater bench made of iron. The frames for the seats and backrests are made of wood with wickerwork. Great 1950's Italian design. Design by Giuseppe Pagano Pogatschnig, an Italian architect and designer. The seats and backrests are still screwed to the iron frame with the original screws. 100% original condition. The rush weave is still the first. It is plaited with light and slightly dark braid. Not loose or no loose spots. Not sat through. The back has become a bit darker due to the sun. A dark spot on the right seat. The iron frame is in very good condition. Not wobbly, everything tight. On the underside there is some rust on the frame, nothing bad. You can see in the last photo. With a beautiful patina. No damage, nothing bent. Untouched original condition. Suitable for all living areas and very decorative. Unfortunately, due to the size, only shipping to the EU and Germany. Shipping to all countries by arrangement. Total height: 70 cm 27.6" Seat height: 37 cm 14.6" Width: 106 cm 41.7" Total depth: 56 cm 22.05" Will be packed very well for safe shipping.
