Large bench or bench seat from the 1950s. The 3 wide pine wood slats offer a warm honey color. Placed on black wooden legs. Can be used as a bench, bench or coffee table.

Stunning solid teak bench designed by Pierre Jeanneret for Chandigargh. Stencil reads - M.L.A.(GH)-036. Rectangular seat resting on two compass type side legs. Connected by a crossbar connecting each leg to its opposite. New caning. New cushion. Benches were used in the hostels and hotels for civil servants. Purchased originally from the Indian government. Have all photos from before and after careful restoration. Restoration done by artisans in India who specialize only in Jeanneret. Reference number PJ-010906. Excellent condition.
