American Windsor bench, c. 1830

About the Item

Windsor bench with carved mahogany arms and mixed woods. The bench has a birch crest rail supported by turned spindles on a single pine board shaped seat supported by bamboo turned legs with box stretchers. The arms are scroll carved mahogany and attached to the upper rear leg post-and-spindle turned arm posts. American, Northern New England, circa 1830. Dimensions: 60" L x 30” D x 32-1/2” H 16-1/2” seat height 26-3/4” arm height 14-1/2” seat depth
