Wimbledon-Furniture is delighted to offer for sale this exceptionally rare original one of a kind early 18th-century French brothel bench which has been fully restored from top to bottom There is around 50-100 high definition super-sized pictures at the bottom of this page What this bench has seen God only knows, it came to me with the original lined upholstery, the little round feet are later additions otherwise it is totally original, the piece has been fully restored to include new premium plain russet leather upholstery, it’s been hand studded with solid brass studs, the leather was pleated in diamonds which takes some time and hand-stitched under, it was a very complicated piece to restore, the plain leather has then been hand dyed this lovely whiskey brown color Size wise this can seat two possibly three, I’ll let your imagination do the talking when it comes to the frame and the layout as to where those two or three might sit! For me, this is a rare survivor in perfect condition and an amazing talking piece or marital aid!
