Designed by Lord Snowdon in the 1960s and manufactured in 2011, this one-off cabinet has remarkable provenance. The revered British photographer and filmmaker, who married Princess Margaret, the sister of Queen Elizabeth II, was also a talented designer and craftsman. Having built a cabinet in the 1960s from steel threaded bar, a mahogany chest and old cupboard doors from the attics of Clarence House palace, Snowdon used this piece of furniture to store his photographic slides for the rest of his life.
