About the Item

A highly decorative and unique 19th century French empire painted and parcel gilt cast iron upholstered bench. Parcel gilt border is of a rich gold with warm red undertone painting jester faces, curves and rosettes. Upholstered with elegant and chic striped silk fabric in fair condition.
