French 19th Century Louis XVI St. Patinated Wood Bench
About the Item
An elegant and large scale French 19th century Louis XVI st. patinated wood bench. The elongated bench is raised on six circular tapered fluted legs in the shape of an archer's quiver with charming mottled feet and top foliate designs similar to fletchings. Above each leg is a wonderful block reserve with a central rosette on all four corners and at the mid section of the apron. The apron displays a elegant bottom mottled band and handsome dentil design below the upholstered seat.
