Good Quality Antique Horn and Animal Skin Settee Sofa

About the Item

A very decorative and in good condition late 19th century 8 horn 2 seater sofa with original upholstery. The back and arms fashioned with horns as well as the feet. The seat is covered in the original hide. Toward the end of the 19th century, there was a fascination with objects representing the West and the frontier. Furniture made out of horns became popular for this reason. The dimensions are: Height: 88cm (34.6in) Width: 140cm (55.1in) Depth: 82cm (32.3in) This exceptional horn settee is in good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. The seat and back remain in good, clean condition. The antique horn settee remains structurally sound. Overall, a good example.
