Jean Prouvé Style Concrete Bench, 1950s France

About the Item

Stunning pair of Jean Prouvé style concrete benches from France, circa 1960. Very similar to Prouvé’s iconic ‘Marcoule’ bench from 1953, these benches were clearly designed and fabricated as a wonderful homage to the master architect/designer. Years of being outdoors in the French weather has given these benches an incredible patina interspersed with lichen and moss. Varying degrees of patina and wear to each bench. Incredible and highly rare modernist additions to any outdoor space. Two available. Priced individually.
