Leplì Bench with Storage Unit in Fabric Grey
About the Item
Leplì is a stool, bench, and pouf. Kensaku Oshiro designs four versatile pieces with a strong identity. The designer draws on traditional Poltrona Frau processes and decorations, combining them with sartorial details borrowed from the world of fashion. Classic stitching and soft folds bring out the sinuous simplicity of the design. The voluptuous curves of the stool, in particular, are inspired by the female form and, like in a dress, a slender belt highlights her “waist”.
The structure of the Leplì pouf is in birch plywood and poplar with uprights in solid beech and infill in kraftliner. In the version with storage compartment, the side shells are in moulded rigid polyurethane, the metal parts of the opening mechanism and the zips are in nickel-plated steel and zamak, and the lid is in birch plywood.
