A Louis Philippe Mahogany Upholstered Bench

About the Item

A Mahogany upholstered bench with double baluster form legs. The turnings on the legs make this a distinctly Louis Philippe bench as apposed to earlier forms that would have had more simplistic linear legs. The sub straight material is Beech. Produced in France. 1st half of 19th century.
