A magnificent 4-seater bench (model 656) by John Behringer for Fabry Associates. These iconic benches were used in the TWA terminal, designed by Eero Saarinen. This design is also part of MOMA’s permanent collection.22 John Behringer is an Industrial Designer whose work has ranged from Product design, Design education and champion of VISUAL THINKING..  Born in 1939, he attended the Parsons School of Design (NYU) in New York City where he earned his B.S. He has been appointed many designe awards, such as the selection of his model 656 for the MOMA’s permanent collection, and he has been head of the Rhode Island School of Design.

    Wear consistent with age and use. - Great condition and very sturdy. The Faux Leather is in excellent condition as a whole; with the exception of two previous small repairs of along sides.
