Originally designed as a museum bench, Muse is constructed in a continuous V-shape that supplies both its structure and ergonomic comfort. It is made up of two continuous boards that have been miter folded at the legs to keep the wood grain running continuously through the waterfall style legs. The subtle use of angles create a bold stance that is confident, yet understated in its timeless presence. Muse was designed by Jude Di Leo and Bernardo Guillermo in 2008. Jude Di Leo is an artist, designer, and master craftsman. All works made by him and his team come from locally sourced materials, and are manufactured by hand, in his Upstate New York studio.
