About the Item
Pair of Rare Model 1507 Pagholz Waiting Room Benches, from the 1950s or 1960s. Four bolts secure the chair to the frame constructed out of fiberglass material that resembles rosewood, and the seat is fashioned for comfort with sturdy iron legs.This completely new molded wood chair is made from beechwood veneers that have been steeped in phenolic resins and bonded under high pressure and temperature. It is based on ergonomic and orthopedic principles.This results in a seat shell that are made of wood yet has the advantages of plastic. The condition of these rare waiting room benches is good and the wear is consistent with age and use. However, the veneer of the magazine holders in the middle is chipped on two edges.
