About the Item
Hand crafted ash wood bench by local Los Angeles artist Evan Segota. This stool features six turned legs and an oval seat with removable Naugahyde cushion. The bottom of the cushion is felt lined and finished with brass fasteners.
Evan Segota is a furniture / product / object designer and artist with a BS in industrial design, and a background in woodworking and ceramics. Each piece is an exploration between sculptural form and functional object, using common and recycled materials as a starting point, evolving through experimentation into unorthodox uses of the components.
