Primitive 19th Century English Bench with Painted Legs

About the Item

Typical 19th-century farmhouse bench handmade of pine with the seat having arched ends and the legs painted a pale peach color. The seat is a naturally weathered wood tone. Lovely as seating in a mudroom, or foyer or paired with chairs around a dining table, as it once was in a home in the English Cotswolds. Found in England and handmade from solid wood. Nicks and scratches consistent with age and use. A wood split is present on one end. Character and wear consistent with age and use. Sturdy and functional. Approximately 76.125” L with an 8.875” W seat and 17.5” H.
