There may be a visual difference in color depending on the finish condition.
When two waves encounter each other, they make ‘interference pattern’.
Crest and trough create a resultant wave of greater, lower or the same
amplitude in this superposition and these periodic pulses occur some natural
patterns of beauty which we can discover in manifold nature circumstances.
Crest and trough series are my physical works inspired by these interference
patterns in waves.
Dongwook Choi studied at Konkuk university, Seoul for BFA, majoring metal craft.
Now he is working with a base in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea.
His work is always experimental and have a great interest in scientific phenomena,
patterns of nature, and organic shapes or forms with manifold materials.
It mainly uses functions used in computer modeling tools and motion graphics
for ambiguity and detail of work.
I organize things what I like in the proportion that I prefer, and then I go through the process of transferring them onto my works.
