Stunning Suite of Antique Anglo Indian circa 1880 Oak & Iron Bound Hall Seats
About the Item
We are delighted to offer this lovely suite of original Anglo Indian circa 1880 oak and iron bound hall seating with internal storage
A good looking and well made suite, the set includes the two person bench and the pair of matching armchairs. Each piece has a central lid which lifts up to reveal a very large storage area. These pieces are Anglo Indian so made during England’s occupation of India, they were made for the export market for visiting dignitaries to take pieces home with them
The suite has been cleaned waxed and polished from top to bottom, it have some age and use related patina marks here and there

Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
