Pair of Period French Louis XV Painted Fauteuils, 18th C.
This pair has a cartouche-shaped padded back.
The arms are upholstered, the front and back have a serpentine form and elegant cabriole legs. These type of chairs are characterized by its flat backrest, the shape allowing it to be placed neatly against a wall..
The upholstery is new and done in France.
This pair was found in Provence,
