Large Scale 19th Century French Louis XVI Walnut Metamorphic Armchair

A french 19th century carved walnut metamorphic bergere, armchair that easily folds out to a bed. This highly decorative chair is wonderful to look at, large enough for a tall person to use comfortably and is very pratical for extra sleeping on a space that you don't want a permanent bed set up. This is an exceptional chair for the person that loves unique and rare antiques.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. Minor fading. There is a missing hook on one side that I will have made and replaced. The chair needs to be reupholstered but is not unpleasant and could be used. We sell most of our seat furniture for the frames only and not the fabric.
