Pair Rare Precisely Carved French Louis XVI Style Gilded Walnut Bergere Chairs
About the Item
These chairs are absolutely killer and carved so well, so precisely that they were made to be special and remain special today. They feature some of the finest carved details, lovingly gilded and highlighted and the styling of the chairs themsleves is rakish and sleek. These were the epitome of design during their creation. The chair frames are in very good condition and the upholstery is older so may have some minor areas of shading or stains. Measures 25.75 wide x 28.25 tall x 20.5 deep and seat height 15.5. Dates to the 1870s era.
