We are delighted to offer for sale this exquisite fully stamped original circa 1815 Regency Jennens & Bettridge LTD Birmingham ebonised gold leaf painted occasional bergere chair
A very good looking well made and decorative chair. In truth, this is the first one I have seen with the early makers stamp to the base which reads T.H. Jennens London Patentee, this is a very early plaque and beautifully aged
Condition wise is period correct, there are some light age and use related patina marks here and there as you would expect, the back has slightly curved out of the right side, it is just over 200 years old
