1950s Four in Hand Space Saving Nesting Chairs

About the Item

An ingenious space saving idea for smaller areas and city apartments! These nesting chairs, instead of stacking, rest inside each other. There are three chairs per set, so there are two smaller chairs in the largest example. The Four In Hand chairs have been re-upholstered and are room ready. Structurally sound construction. They can be used individually or set up like a bench...Made by Edelmuth, Cleveland, Ohio, Creator of Unusual Home Furnishings. These are unusual. Circa 1950-60. The substrate is made of plywood and masonite. They are lightweight and sturdy. They slide out with reasonable ease, too. The largest example measures 22" deep x 16.5" wide x 29" high. The seat height is approximately 18".
