1950s Industrial Aluminum Crane or Airplane Hoist Canopy Chair

About the Item

Great conversation piece this custom made circa 1950s hoist chair. Via crane, hoist or helicopter... this chair was meant to get one individual, and their gear, up or down or in and out of someplace. It is not marked and we could find nothing like it anywhere. Constructed of hand welded aluminum frame assembled with brass pins on brass chains. Swiss cheese aluminum canopy and seat box for storing gear. Seat and back cushions are newly upholstered in metallic orange vinyl.
