19th Century French Parlor Chairs, Set of four
About the Item
A set of six early 19th century French Biedermeier style parlor chairs made of cherrywood. Beautifully crafted with curved hand carved inter-joined loops on the seat back and turned front legs. These petit chairs are exceptionally sturdy for their small scale and delicate appearance. Original green velvet fabric is worn and faded, as found. The backs of two chairs have been restored.
