African Beaded Yoruba Chair, 20th Century

Feast your eyes on this piece of art: The Yoruba Chair. Originating in Nigeria, this chair is created with thousands of beads hand sewn on, taking an average of three months to complete. This particular Yoruba chair has a unique shape, pattern and color combination compared with the traditional thrones chairs more often seen today. It is quite the conversation piece to say the least.
