Perhaps best known for her “Entrelacs” (“Interlacing”) works, which feature beautifully sinuous and intertwining bands, Agnès Debizet masters the ceramic material giving free rein to improvisation of functional objects in which organic forms dominate. The structure of the pieces appears unpredictably distorted creating an breathtaking effect. Debizet merges organic elements into modern designs creating a vernacular on her own vaguely referencing to a staggering nature.
