    An early and scarce example, in orange polyester reinforced with fibreglass from the first series, which comprised only 35 and 50 items in various colours (red, green, orange, yellow), all of which were produced in Beltzig’s own workshop in Wuppertal. In 1968 the chair was exhibited at the Cologne Furniture Fair, where Verner Panton presented his Visiona 0 concept for a new lifestyle. The characterful appearance of the Eva lounge chair results from the combination of a high and distinctively organically curved backrest, swooping armrests and solid wood legs. Upholstered in a yellow wool fabric, this Eva lounge chair lends a touch of the delightful spirit of the 1950's to any interior. About the designer: Kerstin Hörlin-Holmquist (1925-1997) was a Swedish architect and designer who often worked together with her husband Erik Holmquist. Hörlin-Holmquist graduated from Stockholm’s Konstfack in 1952, and before that she studied and worked in England.
