An early Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hanson 'Swan' Chair Model No. 4325 with teak wood legs. This model with wooden legs was manufactured for only one year making it significantly rarer compared to the aluminum pedestal base model. About Arne Jacobsen Danish architect and furniture designer, was a craftsman at heart who embraced modern principals brining modernism to Denmark and shaping a particular Danish functionalist expression while remaining true to his Arts and Crafts roots. His seemingly effortless approach to design coupled with a keen sense of proportion and rare talent allowed him to create objects of lasting beauty.
