Foot Accent Chair in Walnut Wood
Designed by Project 213A in 2023 as part of the Brand's signature Foot Collection.
The "Foot Accent Chair" was showcased for the first time at Alcova during the design week in Milan this April. It is crafted by hand with locally sourced wood in PROJECT 213A's own wood workshop and is available in oak and walnut wood.
The piece has been designed to be an accent chair as well as a dining chair with is simple yet surprising design.
During the design process PROJECT 213A focused on the idea of a long-lasting use and appreciation of the brand's design ethos: unexpected and attention to material.
Rather than creating a furniture item that blends in, PROJECT 213A wanted to create a piece that is bold and becomes a member of the house. The creature like appearance evokes an emotional connection and makes this piece one to keep and care about.

Project 213A is a European design house founded in 2020 as an idea by four friends linked by a common design philosophy. This Project became reality with the launch in September 2021.
The brand’s goal is to create modern as well as unique furniture and home accessories that are timeless with a commitment to work towards a more sustainable future.
The name of the brand “Project 213A” refers to a London based address where all four founders each have lived in - at different times throughout their studies.
The building is featured prominently within the logo where their home stood, above a launderette.
Each product is responsibly manufactured in selected Portuguese factories and family run workshops to provide a considerate way of production while minimising wasteful practices.
