About the Item

Flat black finished steel bar stools with round upholstered swiveling seats by Thomas Hayes Studio. This item is available for custom order and the lead time is 6-10 weeks; sometimes we are able to complete projects faster, so please contact us to inquire. The price is COM/COL (customer's own material/leather) for one stool. CUSHION OPTIONS: You may send your own leather or material, or we have a selection of options available in stock as well; please inquire for more specifics or samples. In place of an upholstered seat, you can also choose from one of the wood seat options below. WOOD OPTIONS: Walnut, Mahogany, Oak, Maple ($1400 each) Rosewood ($2050 each) FINISH OPTIONS: A variety of Satin Lacquer and Oil finishes are available; please inquire for all wood/finish options. NOTE: The oil finishes are flat, water proof and penetrate deeply, bonding with the upper fibers of the wood to create a silky surface that feels “finished” but looks like raw wood. BASE OPTIONS: Frames are available in flat black (as shown), dark bronze, white, or gray finished steel. Solid brass is available in brushed, light patina, or dark patina ($1,600 each COM/COL). This item is available for custom order and the lead time is 6-8 weeks; sometimes we are able to complete projects faster, so please contact us to inquire. Counter stool seat height ranges from 24-26", so all our models come in 26" seat height. They can easily be cut down 1" or 2" per your requirements and at no additional charge. This design is also available in bar stool height. For any custom pieces with solid wood or wood veneer, we deliberately choose to use beautifully figural wood that may have some irregularities. You can expect much variation in grain and some knots, slight cracks, and small filled knot holes that are naturally occurring in the completed pieces. It is part of our aesthetic and process when making hand crafted pieces to not attempt to hide these natural irregularities that we believe make a piece more beautiful and unique.
