  • Swedish Mid-Century Easy Chair with Sheepskin, Sweden 1950s
    Located in Utrecht, NL
This classic easy chair was designed in the 1950s, during the most active period of what we know today as mid-century Swedish furniture design. This chair is designed in the typical Scandinavian modern style with a clean and functional look complemented by stylish elements. The chair’s simple and functional design, starting from the wooden frame’s symmetric lines to the visible joints and screws, is highly representative of the principles of Scandinavian mid-century design. The sheepskin further highlights the round edges of the seat- and back rest, which contrasts nicely with the straight lines of the frame. The design is reminiscent of Alf Svensson’s TeVe...
