About the Item
An authentic primitive stump chair made in one piece of solid wood. Seat reupholstered in great quality shearling lambswool.
Hand carved by a Swedish cabinetmaker in the early 20th century. A unique and heavy wabi sabi piece. The overall condition is good in this vintage object, with a fine patina.
"Wabi-sabi is the view or thought of finding beauty in every aspect of imperfection in nature. It is about the aesthetic of things in existence, that are “imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete”.
