Jean Prouve Chair from Vauconsant

About the Item

This chair is a standard chair manufactured by Vauconsant in the 1940s. Until recently, the chair was presented in galleries around the world as a prototype for Jean Jean Prouve standard chair. Presented in galleries around the world as a prototype for Jean Prouve's Standard chair, which is now known to have been made by Vauconsant. Vauconsant was responsible for Jean Prouve work. This wooden model from the Second World War, when steel was scarce during the war, has a buried wood backrest and a minus screw seat. This is a very valuable professional monopod, so why not take advantage of this opportunity? Condition.
