About the Item

Jacob & Josef Kohn bentwood chair No.714 attributed to Otto Wagner. Otto Wagner was a leading figure in the Viennese Succession movement. The Viennese succession is an art movement formed in 1897 by a group of Austrian artists, closely related to Art Nouveau. Jacob & Josef stamp can still be seen on the underside. The chair is still in its original leather. The leather of the backrest has in the centre ‘Eine Erinnerung’ - A Memory. The chair is solid and in good condition. The leather has some damage at the front. Dimensions Height - 80cm Width - 62cm Depth - 50cm Seat Height 48cm
