Pair of Incredible Wingback Fiberglass Chairs by Selig, circa 1960s

Most likely designed by Lawrence Peabody for Selig (although Luther Canover had a similar product), these remarkable fiberglass chairs are a wingbacked alternative to the Eames edition of fiberglass seating. Cradled in a polished chrome tubular base, the molded seat features wonderfully variegated fibers, and they are as comfortable as they are stylish.
