About the Item

Pair of 'Toro' chairs by Martin Szekely, France 1987. The chairs were produced by Néotù gallery in a limited number of 200 examples. Minimal tubular and folded sheet steel frames finished with their original bright red lacquer. The combination of the flat steel sheets and tubular construction provide a very interesting silhouette to the chairs. The design is part of the collections of Centre national des arts plastiques / Fonds national d’art contemporain and Mobilier National France. The chairs in a fully original condition and show a characteristic patina on the edges.
