These vintage postmodern chairs were designed for Ikea in the 1990s. Undeniably the designer must have been inspired by the Ligne Roset RIO dining chairs by Pascal and Olivier Mourgue. Both designs resonate in their rectangular use of wood and bended handling of raw steel. They manifest the persistence of postmodern aesthetics in the 90s.
Their light design and colours make them a perfect fit for a light and open space.
