Rare pair of 1920s second class Paris Metro slatted wooden freestanding metro chairs with enamel backing inscribed "II" Societe du Verre etire" Manfactured by Sprague Thomson circa 1920. Although the majority of the Paris Metro entrances were in the Art Nouveau style, these chairs have more of an Art Deco sensiblity.
