Set of Four "Campanino" Wood Chairs by Sanguineti, Italy, 1950s

About the Item

Marvellous set of four Italian chairs model "Campanino" by Sanguineti, Chiavari. This light and solid chair was the traditional favorite piece of Ignazio Gardella, Franco Albini and Luigi Caccia Dominioni. Almost all their 1950s interior design projects were furnished with these chairs. Later on Gio Ponti took inspiration from this remarkable production for the Superleggera chair. Original willow seat and beech frame.
