About the Item

Unique set of four chairs manufactured in Poland in the 1960s, designed by Rajmund Halas. The upholstery is made of velvet fabric in dark green color. reflectin the colors of nature. It s a soft, fine, woven upholstery velvet. The fabric has been woven in such a way as to yield a worn-through effect. As a result, the irregular surface produces eye-catching light reflections. Additionally, it has a water-resistant finish. This, together with the fabric’s high abrasion resistance and heavy weight, makes Lavender a perfect choice for furniture upholstery. The chair structure is made of beech wood finished with a satin varnish. The set has been completely restored - the wood has been polished and refinished, the new upholstery foams have been used, the upholstery was hand sewn.
