Great Louis XIII style set of turned beechwood in baluster shape on the two front feet, the H-shaped stretcher and the front spacer .The back rest shows good moldings all around and a "chapeau de Gendarme "top shape ,providing an overall very elegant line to the chair. Sriped velvet fabric held to the frame by large nails, as it should be, circa 1870.
