The story of Walky began with the words “Café Bistro,” specifically to the classic image of a charming café on the Champs Elysées in Paris. The aroma of an exquisite coffee accompanied by a baguette or a croissant while observing people strolling through the city streets is an experience that resonates with us. This essence is precisely what Walky is inspired by.
It represents our interpretation of that dynamic experience, translated into the comfort of a wooden chair, for going to a café wouldn’t be as magical without the presence of others and the opportunity to delight in observing the city and its inhabitants in their random activities, be it for a few hours or even an entire day.

Design VA
"We believe that by giving life to the ordinary, we can perform the extraordinary." Design VA is a multidisciplinary studio based in Brooklyn, NY, and Guadalajara, Mexico. Viviane and Armando found each other in university while pursuing their bachelor's degrees in Architecture. Today, the award-winning power couple aspires to keep growing their peculiar shared passion for creating soulful objects that touch and speak uniquely to people. The emerging studio designs and fabricates complex out-of-this-world objects to impact homes by bringing life through their stories. Design VA aims to experiment with new materials, shapes, concepts, and disciplines to create exquisite pieces and premium luxury objects. Design VA will debut at the Milan Design Week in June 2022 as an emerging studio in SaloneSatellite and Isola Design District's "Please Sit" gallery, showing their bold and iconic Walky chair, among other exciting upcoming pieces.
