19th Century Chaise Longue, Neo-Empire Style with yellow fabric, brass details

About the Item

A chaise longue made in mahogany wood and softwood with a mahogany burl. The seat is on springs, upholstered with a beige-golden fabric. The furniture’s Form is simple, referring to the Classicism. The legs’ fronts and the top rail of the backrest have applied, brass ornaments. The chaise longue has undergone a renovation of woodwork, and has been finished in a beautiful French polish. Although the upholstery has not been replaced, it is in good condition, and presents itself very well.
