About the Item
Club Armchair "ARTU' "
Vintage club armchair (1930s') of Italian manufacture, finely restored and polished.
The shell of the armchair is solid wood and is veneered with walnut burl and polished with shellac by skilled Italian craftsmen.
The decoration consists of numerous bronze frames polished and patinated and screwed to the shell of the armchair. Above them were applied hand-ground triangles, and cut from a thick sheet, of paste-colored Murano glass in the bright forest green hue. The seat and armrests were created expressly for the ARTU' armchair by the hands of skilled Italian artisans, and the lining of the same is made of the finest hand-woven velvet made by Rubelli Venezia.
The chair is a unique and non-repeatable specimen. Signed by Roberto Giulio Rida with R.G.RIDA logo with brass button applied on the briar. Handcrafted in Italy.
The chair will be properly packed and protected with wooden crate with R.G.RIDA logo fumigated according to international shipping standards.
