Enameled Steel Club Chair

Buyer Protection Guaranteed

A characterful club chair made of enameled steel, with velvet upholstery, in the streamline Modern style. Attributed to the seminal American industrial designer Norman Bel Geddes, whose obsession with aerodynamics is manifested even in his designs for objects which remain stationary in use. That a concern with movement and speed could be purely expressive that is, more symbolic than functional was a defining characteristic of the streamline style.

In very good original condition.
