English 19th Century Smokers Bow Chair
About the Item
This late 19th century Victorian smokers bow arm chair dates from circa 1880 and is constructed of solid oak. It has a curved back with shaped arms, turned and hand-carved spindle upright supports and a figured shaped seat. This characterful antique chair stands on four turned and tapered legs with double stretchers for added stability and has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain and good patina. It has been cleaned and polished with French paste wax and is ready for your immediate use. Be sure to view all of the images to get a better look at the condition of this lovely antique. Seat height 17 ¾”.
