French Club Chairs Original Leather Completely Restored Internally in Horsehair
About the Item
French Club Chairs from the 1930's that have been properly restored internally, while maintaining the 90-year old leather coverings. Each of our French Leather Club Chairs required approximately 40-man-hours of labor to restore in our Old Plank Restoration and Upholstery Department. Our goal at Old Plank is to make the Club Chairs as comfortable as humanly possible, yet make them look as though we never touched the Club Chairs in the first place. This unfortunately requires several more hours of labor, for it is generally quicker to replace the leather, than it is to restore the leather. All of our padding materials are of course old school and encompass the use of horsehair, shredded coco fibers and wadded wool.
