About the Item

In the style of Paolo Buffa, this 1950;s butterfly wing back chair has been restored and newly upholstered in a neutral linen fabric. Beautifully carved wood swag motif accents the front of the chair leading down to gracefully outward curved tapered legs. The exaggerated flared and tall chair back make for a truly comfortable and striking chair giving it a more contemporary styling than the traditional wingback but still the comfort of resting your head on the wing, the original purpose of a wingback chair.
